Adult Crayons

Art

Pastels feel like adult crayons to me.

They’re immediate, forgiving, and a little messy in the best way. There’s no pressure to be precise—just color, gesture, and instinct. This page came from that mindset. I wasn’t trying to draw anything specific, just playing and letting marks pile up.

Somewhere along the way, a face showed up. Kind of a fun self-portrait, even though I didn’t set out to make one. I’ve never really explored that before—but now I’m thinking about it.
